How it Works?

Participation

To participate, students and staff members should tap their CU Link at the card readers installed at both the start and end points (and also at an intermediate card reader for the route between the Chung Chi College area and Lee Woo Sing College).  Name, student/staff ID, department/unit, date, time and card readers tapped will be recorded.

Walking Trails

Eight card readers have been installed, covering various walking routes.  The location of the recommended routes and card readers are shown in the below map.  The routes shown are recommendations only and walkers are welcome to select whichever routes they prefer.

  2. A maximum of six points will be awarded each day.

# No points will be given for tapping cards at card readers at YIA/FYB/PSC of Chung Chi College and Lee Woo Sing College North Block only.  If the route involves both the Chung Chi College area and Lee Woo Sing College, walkers must not only tap their cards at the card readers at these colleges, but must also tap their cards at a card reader at HSHEB/MMW/LSK/UHS in order to score points.  Points will be awarded based upon the segment of the routes taken.  For example:

  • YIA > LWS (0 point)
  • YIA > LSK > LWS (2 points for YIA > LSK + 1 point for LSK > LWS = 3 points in total)
