Night Talk—Air Pollution and Our Food: How Do They Affect Each Other?

Public Health | 23 February 2021

Air pollution is one of the biggest environmental concerns affecting every one of us, damaging not only our health but also our food and plants in nature.  As citizens, we may feel helpless sometimes because we may think that only big industries and governments can do something about it, but indeed each of us can help reduce air pollution by adjusting our diet!

In this online Night Talk, Prof TAI Pui Kuen Amos, Associate Professor, Earth System Science Programme and CW Chu College Affiliate, will share about how air pollution affects our food, and how changing our eating habit may help address this serious environmental problem.
