Staff Volunteers Wanted for Green Living Day

Organizer: Business Environment Council (BEC) and Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA)

BEC is now recruiting CUHK staff as volunteers to join the Green Living Days on 1, 15, 22 and 29 June 2019 under the long-term community environmental programme Green Delight in Estates (GDE).

The programme aims to raise the environmental awareness among Public Rental Housing (PRH) residents and instill a culture of protecting and improving the environment.  Comprising territory-wide campaigns on main environmental themes and educational and promotional environmental programmes designed by green groups for individual estates, the programme has rolled out in phases to ultimately cover all PRH estates under HA.

Duties:

  • Assist in reception, photo-taking and crowd management
  • Assist in operations of different booths, including carnival games, bartering activities, forums and workshops

  • Date: 1 June 2019 (Saturday)
    Time: 1:00–5:30 p.m.
    Location: Shek Pai Wan Estate, Aberdeen, Hong Kong Island

  • Date: 15 June 2019 (Saturday)
    Time: 1:00–5:30 p.m.
    Location: Sun Tin Wai Estate, Sha Tin, New Territories

  • Date: 22 June 2019 (Saturday)
    Time: 1:00–5:30 p.m.
    Location: Tin Heng Estate, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories

  • Date:  29 June 2019 (Saturday)
    Time: 1:00–5:30 p.m.
    Location: Tin Tsz Estate, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories
